The architecture is very grand indeed, with the hotel entrance featuring colonnades of bamboo resting bronze elephant feet. The mosaic floor depicts animals stalking the plains of Africa and ceilings are decorated in the style of bygone Renaissance masters.
There are numerous activities to keep your family busy, including one of the best water parks in the world, fantastic golf courses and large entertainment centres. Nearby there are the fabulous plains and mountains of the Pilanesberg National Park which will provide you with excellent game viewing opportunities. You might also like to fly a Tiger Moth, ride and elephant, enjoy a mornings archery and clay pidgeon shooting.
The Palace has three restaurants from which to choose in the evening. The Villa del Palazzo restaurant serves fine Italian cuisine, while the Crystal Court specialises in Californian style there is also a Pool restaurant and two elegant lounge bars as well as a cocktail bar.
We would usually recommend that our clients spend two or three days here either at the end or the beginning of their family safari.
