


From camp you can enjoy morning and afternoon game drives exploring the area during the day time before heading out just after dark to spot the shyer nocturnal animals such as genet, civet, serval, porcupine and aardwolf.
On game drives from camp you are likely to see herds of elephant, buffalo, zebra, tsessebe, giraffe, kudu and impala and the predators; lion, leopard and cheetah. Wild dog are also sometimes found in the area. Chitabe Lediba has two exciting hides to enjoy a few hours of game viewing in secret with animals unaware of your presence.
The Chitabe Concession covers 28 000 hectares of pristine Okavango wilderness. It borders the well known Moremi Game Reserve and is nestled between two main river systems, the Gomoti to the east and the Santantadibe to the west. What makes Chitabe unique even in the Okavango Delta is that it harbours such a variety of habitats within close proximity, ranging from classic Okavango scenery with Illala palms dotting floodplains to open savannah and acacia woodlands.
